Glenfiddich Classic – nineties bottling – 43%

An early example of double-matured whisky, this was predominantly aged initially in bourbon casks before being finished in sherry casks. We don’t know the exact length of the finishing period, but the whisky is approximately 12 years old.

The double maturation is surprisingly clear – the classic bourbon-cask vanilla and green-apple aromas are complemented by typical sherried notes of dark chocolate and prune on the palate.

The Balvenie 12 years old Golden Cask – 43%

This Balvenie single malt was originally released as a Travel Retail exclusive, but here’s your chance to grab a bottle without going on holiday! The whisky finished its 12-year maturation in casks seasoned with a bespoke rum blend, selected for its golden, caramel-rich character, the result is a rich and characterful sipper, brimming with notes of sweet honey and spice, soft stone fruits, and a touch of tropical coconut.

Clynelish 14 years old – 46%

This classic single malt opens with aromas of orange zest, green apple and soft florals, followed by creamy toffee, honey, light coastal salinity and of course that signature waxy texture on the palate. Clynelish 14 has earned a cult following over the past two decades, thanks to its balance of freshness, coastal character and texture – that waxy quality is a hallmark that sets it apart from many malts. It remains one of the most consistently respected bottlings in the world.

Longmorn 15 years old – 45%

A lovely full-bodied Speysider from the Longmorn distillery, matured for 15 years before being bottled up at 45% ABV. This old bottling looks rather different to the distillery bottlings of Longmorn that you see these days – it’s a rather dramatic illustration on the label and everything. Fancy!

Ardnamurchan AD/Sherry Cask Release – 50%

The 2024 edition is a combination of peated and unpeated malt, aged in oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. This is a robust and textural dram that shows layers of raisin, candied cherry, fruit cake, mixed nuts, and orange marmalade.
